Guru Grah Shanti Jaap

1. 'Guru' is known as Jupiter in English and is worshipped on Thursdays. He is the ruler of all planets and brings knowledge and wisdom. Any misalignment in the horoscope due to Jupiter can bring negativity and malefic effects.

2. The male planet Jupiter is self-disciplined and saintly in nature. Persons with a strong position of Jupiter are highly successful and scholars in their respective fields.

3. A well-trained priest is called to fix the date and perform the Jaap. Guru Devaru is invoked along with the chanting of mantras, and then the Guru Graha Mantra is chanted to negate the malefic effects of Jupiter.
