1. Vishwakarma is the divine architect of the world, also known as ‘Swayambhu’. He is credited with constructing the city of Dwarka and the Maya Sabha of the Pandavas.
2. Vishwakarma Puja is very auspicious for engineers, architects, or anyone whose work involves machinery, iron, or wood.
3. It generally falls in the month of September (the last date of Bhaado Maas) as per the Gregorian calendar. It is also celebrated a day after Diwali, alongside Govardhan Puja, in October-November.
4. ‘Sthapatya Veda’ is the ancient science of mechanics and architecture, contributing to the foundation of this puja.
