
Vrihaspati Vrat Udyapan Katha
1. This Puja is the concluding ceremony after doing fasting (Vrat) for a minimum of 7 Thursdays and a maximum of 108 Thursdays. At the end of the Vrat, Udyapan is done as a thanksgiving to God.
2. Thursday is represented as Brihaspativaar or Vrihaspativaar. It is the day of Lord Vishnu and Brihaspati, who is the guru of the Vedas.
3. On the day of fasting, the devotee wears yellow clothes, offers yellow bhog and Prasad to Lord Vishnu and Brihaspati to gain a job, health, wealth, and happiness.
